Graduation Concert Invitation

Yes, Daddy and Mummy finally received my K2 graduation concert invitation in the form of a chocolate bar.  And this is because the theme for our English play is Willy Wonker and the Chocolate Factory !!!

The K2 graduation concert will be held at Raffles Hotel Jubilee Hall on 23 Nov 2012

And see the meticulous effort that the school has put in to design the invitation 'box', especially the 'ingredients' portion

And inside the box are 2 Golden Tickets, entry into the concert hall

Daddy and Mummy are definitely very excited to go to my graduation concert.  And I can reveal which role I will be playing !!!

K1 Experience

Just before I went to bed, I saw my K1 scrapbook.  So instead of asking Daddy to read stories to me, I took my K1 scrapbook and told Daddy what those photos were all about, and some of the activities that I did in school

Hundred Kisses

This is my story on Hundred Kisses

On the first day that Daddy went on his night shift, I asked Daddy what time he would be back home.  When Daddy said he was not sure, maybe 4 am, then I went "WOW" !!! Like I knew what that meant ... haha

So when I woke up at 11 pm for my night pee, I asked for Daddy again just to see if he was back.  Mummy told me not yet, so I told Mummy that must ask Daddy to give me a kiss when he was back.  And at about 4 am or so, I so happened woke up again .... haha.  And I remembered to ask for Daddy again.  But Daddy was still not back.

So I told Mummy that Daddy definitely must give me a hundred kisses even when I was sleeping soundly.  And when Daddy reached home, he did give me a hundred kisses on my cheeks ....

How To Be A Good Child

Telling Daddy how a good child should behave .... complete homework before watching TV or playing toys ... even when I need to go to the toilet .... haha

Ballet Exams

Enjoying my ballet lessons after a 'long' break since my illness. Learning new ballet movements.  And next year Mar, my teacher said I can go for my ballet exam and get my certificate if I pass !!! Hooray

New Look Of The Year

Look at what I wear on my head .... My friend gave this to me in school, and I wear this when I do my schoolwork to prevent my fringes from dropping down (meaning, time to go for a haircut soon) ...

Don't I look like the respectable old lady in ancient days (holding on to a dragon staff) ... hah

By the way, I was using rubber band to make different shapes out of it ...

My Favourite Books

Simply love the Little Miss and Mr series ... In fact, I can recognize most of the characters of the series

And when Daddy and Mummy drew the characters, I can guess who they were most of the time

Medals !!!

After dinner, I decided to make Daddy and Mummy 2 medals ....

The first one for Daddy ....

And the second one for Mummy .... with both of them wearing the medals that I have made ...

Glass Painting

I fell ill after I came back from my Bintan trip .... must have had too much fun over there. Haha.  So while I was resting at home with Mummy, I did my glass painting (that I bought from my JB trip previously).

Did that all by myself, without any help from Mummy.  Nice ???

Needs and Wants

School taught us the differences between needs and wants ... simple concept, but how come adults struggle with that at times ??? Sigh ...

Concrete Evidence

Was cuddling up in bed with Daddy just before I went to sleep.  And Daddy wanted to help me tie up the bolster strings at the end of the bolster.  But I told Daddy that my arms were supposed to go through the strings so that the bolster will not drop out of bed onto the floor. 

Daddy told me that even with my arms going through the strings, the bolster will still end up on the floor the next morning.  And I told Daddy must show me evidence, not just say-say.  Daddy was impressed with what he heard .... so young, already knew evidence counts, not simply words.

And Daddy was right .... when he went to bring me to toilet to pee in the middle of the night, he took the photo as the evidence for me the next morning.  Sigh ....

Fun with Friends

On Saturday, Mummy invited Uncle Peng Lam and Auntie Cho Eng and family over for a gathering at our place.  And of course, that meant fun for me with Ashling jie-jie and her younger sister.  So while the adults were catching up, we were enjoying ourselves with games 

And that evening, we played till 10 pm before we decided to call it a day.  And a parting photo shot in our pyjamas, each holding on to a care bear soft toy

Children's Day Present

A specially hand-made present from my teachers to all the kids ... our Children's Day present.  Useful, practical and with a photo of all of us !!!

No Ferry Rides For Me

Mummy was reading the newspaper and there was this article which showed 2 ships collided.  So I asked Mummy what that was all about. Mummy explained that this happened in HK, where 2 ships did not see each other, and therefore collided together.  In the end, 25 people were dead.

When I heard that, I immediately told Mummy that I am not going to take any ferry rides in future.  The ship collision was so scary.  Then Mummy told me that we would be going to Bintan for our short vacation, and would need to take a ferry to reach there.

So I told Mummy, we take the plane instead ....

Looks like the Indonesian government got to build an airport just for me .... haha

Conquering the Pomelo
